We are looking for a VP of Engineering


Full Time Position

Working closely with the CEO, our VP of Engineering will be an experienced full stack engineer, who will take the technical lead for  the  product ,strategy, roadmap, and future feature definition     . As a supplier of Enterprise solutions based on our Saas model, our VP of Engineering will be accountable for the development of our growing in-house     technology team and successful technical partnering with our clients.

This position is an influential role within the company and offers the successful candidate the opening to develop their ambitions for business development and the opportunity to earn a share holding through our Vested ESOP, based on performance. This is an exciting time to join the company as we are on a significant growth trajectory, with a growing order book from enterprise clients in private, state and semi-state sectors in ROI and UK.

No two days will be the same, and your role willbe the technical curator of our     strategic product roadmap. A great communicator, you will be thinking ahead to what we need to do in 2 years and how to implement this. We have a great team of other junior developers in house as well as an international (near-shore) support in front end development Mentoring and supporting junior developers on their learning journey is a strong part of our culture and you will have the opportunity to influence and build out your own team as we grow.

With remote working a new norm, you will just need to be in Kilkenny on a regular basis without the 9-5 commitment, we are a family first business and you will be reporting to the CEO.

What you will need to succeed

  • Experience with Relational Database Design
  • Experience with Object Orientated Design
  • Experience with any of Python,           Experience with GKE, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
  • Experience with CI/CD (preferably Jenkins)
  • Experience in designing microservices
  • ECMA6, React.js, Redux.js          CSS3, HTML5
  • 5 or more years of experience in related fields  including using technologies listed above.
  • Object Oriented PHP 5.x, 7,x
  • Familiarity with at least one major PHP MVC Web F ramework
  • Familiarity with cloud based development and deployment, preferably Google Cloud.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Excellent Communication Skills


  • Ability to transfer complicated business logic into workable code
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop Junior Developers and lead a development team
