Job Description

The role

My client is a specialist Finance company, based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and requires an experienced office administrator for a full time permanent position.

 Main purpose of the Job:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager the role is an Officer Administration Assistant

  • Ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of the office functions.
  • Directly supporting the Head of Underwriting.
  • Communicate with customers both in written and orally communication
  • Prepare reports and management information.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will:

· Possess strong administration experience and IT expertise and literacy in particular Microsoft Office.

· Have outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).

·Work well in a team environment and maintain effective working relationships and be able to nurture relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

· Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability to new challenges and demands 

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

Have had a minimum 3-5 years of general administrative and office experience, ideally in a medium to large organisation.

·         Have experience of office administration systems.

·         Possess advanced IT skills and in particular, an expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.

·         Experience of financial services is desirable.

·         Experience of Data Protection procedures and protocols would be an advantage.
