Experienced Dairy Farm Assistant / Manager required for a South Westmeath farm.  The farm has an 80 spring based herd with potential to expand to a 120 cow unit by 2024.  The farm is in one block laid out in convenient paddocks.  A good tidy yard and facilities.  A newly constructed milking parlour with a new 16 unit BouMatic Gascoigne milking machine, new collecting yard and drafting facilities.   Dairy farming experience is essential (2 years +).  In addition the ideal candidate must have the ability to work on own initiative with the support of the farm owner, have a passion for animal health and performance, take pride in his or her work.  Excellent grassland management skills are a must.  Full driving licence.  Good machinery skills a bonus but not essential.  Salary commensurate with experience.
