1. Scope of the position
The Facilities Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the site buildings. This includes ensuring cleanliness standards are met in the canteens, toilets, offices, meeting rooms and corridors. The role generates a clean environment for Mergon employees and a positive experience for visitors.
2. Key Responsibility
Cleaning:
- Perform routine cleaning of canteens, toilets, meeting rooms, lobbies, offices and halls
- Restocking of consumables in canteen and kitchen areas.
- Buffering of tiled floors.
Waste Management:
- Dispose of waste materials appropriately and in line with environmental and safety policies.
- Segregate and recycle waste as per company guidelines.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
