Inglot Cosmetics is a family run business based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. To date we have 17 stores based throughout the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. Our e-commerce channel has been key in the growth and success of Inglot Cosmetics in the Republic of Ireland. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced eCommerce manager to join our rapidly growing business. This role will be vital in exploring how this growth can continue throughout the Republic of Ireland and the development of a strong e-Commerce business in the UK. The e-Commerce Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the online offering in Ireland as well as developing a strong e-Commerce business for the UK Market. Therefore, the candidate must have a strong knowledge of online/eCommerce platforms. Working with the rest of the business across IT, distribution, finance, and marketing, you will develop a strong customer proposition that will translate into a trading calendar that you will execute. You will be required to find and implement third parties that will help facilitate our expansion into the UK market. You must be extremely organized with excellent influencing skills and can work with and manage other departments to ensure that all requirements are delivered on time for us to achieve our ambitious deadlines. You need to have the drive and ambition to develop an innovative growth plan, which you will not be afraid to execute. You will show a deep understanding of online acquisition strategies and will develop and lead the execution of the online marketing plan to grow brand awareness in Ireland and the UK. You must have the ability to analyze data and compile actionable conclusions. Your duties will include: Be the in-house international e-Commerce expert. Develop the online proposition, focusing on product, marketing and service. Develop and implement an ecommerce strategy for the Ireland and UK Market. Drive ecommerce sales growth and profitability. Appoint and work closely with third parties where relevant. Apply strategic thinking to develop a strong plan and have the relevant know-how to execute it. Regular reporting and KPI performance monitoring. Manage content production and SEO improvements to increase our natural search traffic. Develop an online marketing strategy to include PPC, Affiliate, SEO, Display, Email and Retargeting strategy. Create effective customer acquisition and retention programmes Oversee day to day running of the website as well as implementing strategic projects. Keep up to date on e-commerce trends and new techniques. Optimize the customer journey through constant review of product classification and site ordering. Set out and implement a clear merchandising strategy with measurable objectives and deliverables. Own and manage the annual trade and marketing plan. Work with the Web Development Company, Marketing and Accounts teams to understand key focuses and ensure high level of traffic pages are presented in the best way. Build strong relationships with the rest of the business and partners, and influence decisions to ensure the best commercial outcome. Use multiple content management systems to update and upload content to the site. Constantly review competitor websites and other websites to ensure we are up to date. Identify areas of opportunity online suggesting ways to improve our digital performance. Work on Ecommerce projects with the Ecommerce Project Team and wider department to deliver new platforms, sites and technology. Manage relevant budgets to deliver best ROI. Overseeing the daily tasks of the online team The management of our online orders through our automated order processing system and the re-conciliation of payments received Accountable for overall success of our web-shop with the goal to drive Revenue and Profitability of the ecommerce operation Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred in Digital Marketing or similar background Preferably at least 2 years’ experience in a similar e-commerce role. Experience or interest in the cosmetics industry would be an advantage A strong knowledge of online/eCommerce platforms. Proven track record in launching, managing and growing e-commerce sites. Understanding of and experience of managing online marketing channels. Excellent communication and relationship building skills and ability to work in a diverse setting. Outstanding analytical skills, including a track record in increasing conversion rate. Creativity / innovative thinking to drive accelerated growth of the business. Passion for achieving results.
