A Westmeath/Offaly based medical practice is currently recruiting for a Dictaphone Typist / Medical Secretary to cover a period of leave. The job opportunity is for an initial 6-month fixed term.
This role will primarily involve the typing up of letters dictated by clinical staff. Other duties and responsibilities will include:
Scheduling appointments.
Dealing with patient queries face to face and all telephone queries.
Responsible for taking payments, cashing up and balancing books.
Supporting doctors and admin team with all admin and ad hoc duties.
Office filing, scanning, updating Patient database and Retrieving patient charts.
Experience Required:
Touch/Dictaphone typing skills in a medical environment are essential combined with IT skills.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure....
