North Midlands Credit Union

At North Midlands Credit Union, our commitment to the community and prioritizing member needs is at the core of our mission. We are dedicated to delivering the utmost member experience within the financial industry as a community-based cooperative where our members are our top priority.

Membership is open to those living, working, or attending school within our common bond(see map below), or individuals residing with a family member who is already a member. The common bond refers to the shared factor that unites Credit Union members, typically those in the same geographical area, defining the operational scope of the credit union. We proudly serve the communities of Mullingar, Kinnegad, Castlepollard, Rochfortbridge, Longford, and Lanesboro’ Ballyleague.

To join, you have the option to apply online or call us at 044 934 8817 to schedule an appointment at any of our branches. Simply choose your preferred branch, day, and time – we also offer Saturday appointments, excluding Longford. Ensure you bring the necessary documents (see below) to your appointment, where we will complete your registration.

New member accounts are opened based on appointments, and while we aim to accommodate walk-ins where possible, we strongly recommend booking an appointment to avoid any inconvenience.
