Who We Are
Novelplast Teoranta is Ireland’s leading PET plastics recycling company, dedicated to making plastics truly sustainable for future generations. Based in Gibbstown, Navan, Co. Meath, Novelplast was founded in 2017 and began full operations in 2019. Our mission is to deliver circular solutions for the plastics industry through innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

What We Do
We specialise in the mechanical recycling of both post-industrial and post-consumer PET feedstocks — including bottles, films, trays, flakes, fines, and low-grade polyester residues — and transform them into high-quality recycled PET (rPET) resin pellets. Using proprietary technology, we can recycle materials that traditional systems often reject, giving them renewed life as sustainable raw materials for the sheet, fiber, strapping, and packaging industries.

Job Title: Assistant Process Technician Key Responsibilities General duties: Manage the feed of material at the start of the line so that there is a consistent flow of material to the shredder. Escalate any concerns as to the quality of the raw material to Senior Process Technician. Complete periodic quality tests on all materials to include but not limited to colour, IV and fluorescence. Manage the input of raw material so that the daily blend targets set for that production run are achieved. Implement changes to the blend as instructed. Senior Process Technician

Job Title: Senior Process Technician Key Responsibilities: Prioritise and optimise production to maintain target specifications (run rate, downtime, quality – off-spec/haze, blends, etc.) Ensure Operations Supervisor and Quality Department are fully informed as to the performance of the line through periodic and comprehensive data capture (end of shift report). Carry out quality testing in the laboratory of the materials being produced on their shift and on raw materials when required. Optimise raw material usage (blends and blend targets).
