Offaly Centre for Independent Living (OCIL) is a person-centered, community-focused organization dedicated to empowering individuals with physical and sensory disabilities. We operate on the fundamental principle of the Independent Living Movement: that every person has the right to live with dignity, choice, and control over their own lives.
Since our inception, we have grown to become a leading provider of support services across the Midlands, currently serving communities in Offaly, Laois, Westmeath, and Longford. At OCIL, we don’t just provide a service; we facilitate a lifestyle of independence for our service users.
Personal Assistance Service: Our team of dedicated Personal Assistants (PAs) works one-on-one with individuals in their own homes and communities. Unlike traditional care models, our PAs take direction from the service user, assisting with everything from personal care to social integration and employment support.
Clochan House Respite Service: Located on the HSE campus on Arden Road, Tullamore, Clochan House is our flagship 5-bed residential respite facility. It offers a "home-from-home" experience for people aged 18–70. We provide a 5-day, 4-night stay designed to offer both the individual and their families a vital break in a supportive, professional, and welcoming environment.
Working with OCIL is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of people with disabilities. We are looking for empathetic, reliable, and professional individuals to join our expanding team across the Midlands.
