Lifeguard & Swim Teacher

We are looking for a full time (37.5 hour working week) Lifeguard with Swimming Teacher, Clara Co Offaly area. Full-time permanent position, approximately 7.5 - 8 hour days (occasional Saturdays for holiday cover etc). This position has the ability to provide more future private swim teaching financial opportunity. 

Lifeguard experience necessary with a qualification to 1.5m.

Full Swim teacher training can be provided to the successful applicant.

Job Description

• To lifeguard interchanging every 30 /45 minutes.
• To interchange with other lifeguards for reception work. 
• To deliver swimming lessons for schools, special needs units and group lessons.
• To communicate with customers and represent Clara Swimming Pool in a polite and professional manner.
• Some cleaning is required.
• Hours are week days between 8am to 9am. 

Qualifications and Requirements 

• RLSS Lifeguard qualification (1.5m) preferably in date. 
• Swimming instructor qualifications an advantage but not essential.
• Week day hours (weekend work only required on occasions for cover holidays etc) 
• Must demonstrate experience with children aged 4-15 years.
• Must be a self motivating, responsible and active.
• Where required training will be provided to the successful applicant.
