MTM Engineering have a number of opportunities for qualified Electricians to join our team and work on Tier 1 projects across Europe on Rotation.
The Role
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and testing electrical cables, following blueprints and procedures, adhering to quality standards, reporting defects, and being flexible for European assignments.

Responsibilities
- Installation & glanding of electrical cable ranging from 4x35mm2 up to 1x500mm2.
- Installing cable lugs, connecting & testing of cables
- Read blueprints and cable magazines.
- Follow “First of Kind” process.
- Adhere to a "Right First Time" work ethic.
- Follow supervisors instructions.
- Report observed defects.
- Be flexible and willing to work in different locations across Europe.
- Perform other work related to the duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Electrician
- Industrial electrical Experience
- Permit to work and live in the EU.
- Have basic hand tools.
- Must be motivated, willing to cooperate with all departments of the company.
- Desire to improve and share your experience.
- Practical and adaptable, ready to perform all tasks assigned by management.
- Strong understanding of and adherence to occupational safety and health regulations.
Desirable
- English (level B1)
- Previous data centre experience
- IPAF 3a & 3b
- VCA safety certificate
The Company Offers

Our onsite services team install our containment and cable systems on our projects across Europe. Our fully trained Electricians and Electrical testers are on hand to test and commission your electrical system for handover. We have our onsite Project, Safety & Quality teams to manage our projects and ensure we complete our works to the highest safety & quality standards. All our projects are assisted from our HQ, based in Slane, Co. Meath.
Our Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) facilities based in Ireland and Romania are utilised as our strategic locations for servicing our customers in both Ireland, the UK & Europe. We have grown our company significantly over the past number of years with our focus of Safety, Quality and commitment to our customers being our guiding principles and the a foundation on which we have build MTM Engineering.
