A vacancy has arisen for the position of Project Worker based at Teach Fáilte, Longford Road, Mullingar. Co Westmeath.

T.E.A.M. is a nonprofit organisation and Approved Housing Body. We work with women and children who are experiencing homelessness. Our service is Teach Failte, which is situated in Mullingar, Co Westmeath and is staffed 24/7. Teach Failte is an 11-unit high threshold supported accommodation. The shifts are on a 5-day rota Monday to Friday. The service is provided through support from our partners in local government, and the HSE.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required;

  • Level 7 Ordinary Degree or higher in social care or related field
  • Essential competencies: Commitment to providing the highest level of service, respect for others, openness to change, communication skills (oral, aural and written), professionalism, maintaining professional boundaries and effective team working.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Experience of working in a homeless setting, or similar
  • Ability to utilise IT systems effectively
