Early Childhood Educator

Role Description

This is a full-time (40 hours per week, Mon - Fri ) on-site role for an Early Childhood Educator at Belvedere Hills Nursery & Montessori in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children, developing age-appropriate lesson plans, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

 Qualifications

• Possess a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education as listed on the DCEC recognised list of qualifications ( minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education)

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of child development principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and parents

• Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning activities

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work off own initiative and as part of a team

• Must be resident and eligible to work in Ireland
