About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is currently a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. This role involves supporting daily store operations, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the shop environment is welcoming, clean, organised, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  • Greet and welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist customers with product enquiries and purchasing decisions
  • Provide a high level of service to enhance the overall shopping experience
• Sales Support
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the till system
  • Handle customer queries, returns, and exchanges where required
• Visual Merchandising & Shop Presentation
  • Assist with shop displays, layout changes, and seasonal merchandising
  • Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times
• Stock Management
  • Receive, organise, and replenish stock on the shop floor
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages
  • Check-in and organise stock deliveries
  • Maintain stockroom organisation and cleanliness
• General Duties
  • Support day-to-day store operations
  • Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as part of a team and work independently
• Ensure smooth Communication between team members 
• You will be required to work both weekdays and weekends
