Senior Electrical Engineer - Tipperary

Our client is a leader in offsite modular construction with ambitious growth and expansion plans both in terms of turnover and service offering. Due to this growth strategy, they have identified the need for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will be an all rounder with at least 5-7yrs experience both on site and within a pre construction & design environment. You will have excellent technical expertise combined with a know how in electrical construction & installation processes on site. 

Working in the company state of the art offsite facility you will be responsible for leading 

the electrical design, coordination, and delivery of modular systems, supporting projects from concept development through detailed design, factory integration, and final handover documentation.

Projects include complex, mission-critical data centre systems, substations, commercial & industrial construction projects.

Duties will include;

• Act as Senior Electrical Engineer for modular data centre systems, taking ownership of electrical design from concept through to units leaving for site.
• Develop electrical designs for factory-built modular systems, including LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, earthing, controls, and auxiliary services.
• Produce and review core electrical deliverables such as SLDs, schematics, layouts, cable schedules, I/O lists, and technical specifications.
• Ensure electrical designs are standardised, repeatable, and optimised for off-site manufacture within the facility
• Support modular product development and standard platform design to enable scalable delivery across multiple projects.
• Act as the primary electrical point of contact for internal project teams, suppliers, and OEMs.
• Seek to grow the department with junior and intermediate electrical professionals.
