Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant – (4-day week)

We're partnering with a well-established and growing accountancy practice to find a Qualified or Experienced Part Qualified Accountant to join its team in Longford on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors
  • Preparation of sole trader, partnership and company accounts
  • Preparation of income tax and corporation tax returns
  • Providing financial information and business advice to clients
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Assisting clients with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Reporting directly to senior management / partners
  • Attending and leading client meetings

Candidate Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified or experienced part qualified accountant
  • Previous practice experience is essential
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
