We are partnering with a busy and growing Accountancy Practice in Naas, Co. Kildare, to recruit a qualified and experienced Senior Accounts Technician.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering an attractive 4-day working week, providing an excellent work-life balance while joining a supportive and professional team. This role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Technician who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering accurate financial information, and is looking for long-term career progression.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Processing debtor and creditor invoices
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Reconciliation of control accounts
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Preparation and submission of Income Tax returns
• Payroll processing using BrightPay
• General bookkeeping and financial administration
• General office and administrative duties as required

Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Accounting Technician (Desirable)
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information professionally
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Digitally proficient with experience using accounting software
• Experience with Sage Accounts and BrightPay is desirable
