We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded community pharmacy group to recruit a Pharmacy Technician for their busy pharmacy in Mullingar. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, working closely with pharmacists and colleagues to ensure the safe, accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions while providing a high standard of service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Process prescriptions in line with current pharmacy guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
• Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving and maintaining inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional manner.
• Support the pharmacist with administrative and operational tasks.
• Ensure all records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant dispensary environment.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working in a community pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy dispensing procedures and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to patient care.
• Experience using MPS dispensing software or similar.
