Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and blueprints.
Fabricate, assemble, and fit commercial vehicle bodies, box vans, tippers, and flatbeds.
Work with various materials including steel, aluminum, and composite panels.
Perform MIG and TIG welding, cutting, and grinding operations.
Install hydraulic systems, tail lifts, electrical wiring, and interior racking.
Inspect finished work for quality, safety, and structural integrity.
Repair and modify existing commercial vehicle bodies and chassis.
Requirements
Proven experience as a vehicle bodybuilder, fabricator, or coachbuilder.
Strong proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG) and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and work from complex technical drawings.
Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations and safety standards.
Valid driver’s license
