Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Prep: Clean, sand, prime, and mask surfaces before painting.
- Paint Mixing: Measure and mix paints, primers, and thinners to the right ratios.
- Equipment Operation: Use airless sprayers, HVLP guns, and related tools.
- Application: Spray even, high-quality coats on metal, wood, or plastic.
- Quality Control: Check finished work for runs, drips, or rough spots and fix them.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray equipment and paint booths after use.
- Safety: Wear proper protective gear and follow workplace safety rules.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years working as a commercial or industrial spray painter.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of paint types, surface prep, and spray techniques.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot flaws and create a flawless finish.
- Physical Strength: Able to stand for long hours and lift heavy items.
- Certifications: Valid safety training or relevant trade certification.
