Speech & Language Therapist – Paediatrics

AllPro Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist for a full-time position based in Mountmellick Primary Care Centre, Co. Laois.

This is an initial three-month placement, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will provide assessment and intervention services to children within a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess children presenting with speech, language and communication needs.
• Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based therapy programmes.
• Manage a paediatric caseload and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Prepare reports and contribute to case reviews and team meetings.

Essential Requirements

• Current CORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Relevant experience working with children.
• Strong assessment, intervention and report-writing skills.
• Availability to work full-time for the duration of the placement.
