Rigid Truck Driver (Category C) / Installer

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded Irish manufacturer of steel-framed garden buildings, is seeking a Category C Truck Driver / Installer to join their expanding team based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a combination of driving, practical installation work and working as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Category C rigid truck to transport garden buildings and materials to customer locations.
• Work alongside two experienced installers to assemble and install steel-framed garden buildings.
• Assist with the safe loading, unloading and handling of materials and equipment.
• Ensure installations are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure daily installation schedules are completed.

Requirements

Essential:

• Valid Category C driving licence.
• A reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
• Willingness to undertake physically demanding, hands-on work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
• Ability to commute daily to Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Desirable:

• Valid Safe Pass certification.
• Previous experience in construction, assembly, installation or a similar hands-on role.
• No previous installation experience is required. Full training will be provided.

Working Location & Hours

The role is based at our client's modern manufacturing facility in Axis Business Park, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

The successful candidate will report to the factory each morning before travelling with the installation team to customer sites.

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 am, with a standard 40-hour week and additional overtime opportunities.
