The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5yrs experience post qualification with a relevant QS degree. Ideally you will have worked with a recognised contractor on industrial or pharma projects with a good knowledge of Mechanical packages an advantage. Duties will include Commercial management and monitoring of mechanical sub contract packages Handling valuations, variations, forecasts and cost reporting. Managing subbie procurement, payments and variations. Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager with commercial strategy and reporting Constant communication and liaising with site team on extra works, program delays, material cost fluctuations and anything affecting commercial performance. This is a long term role in the region with a reputable employer.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with at least 5-7yrs construction/mechanical services installation experience in a pharma or life sciences setting. Ideally you will hold a degree in mechanical engineering and have worked with a recognised mechanical contractor. This can be a full time permanent role in the Midlands or they are also open to contractors. Duties will include; Plan all aspects of the work from initiation through execution and closure for all materials, subcontract work packages and trades requirements Have day-to-day responsibility for managing Health and Safety matters, on the project, and ensure that the Company Safety Management procedures are implemented.
