The Decontamination Assistant – Endoscopy is responsible for supporting the safe and effective decontamination, reprocessing, storage and tracking of flexible endoscopes and associated reusable medical devices within the Endoscopy Unit. The role involves working under the supervision of the Decontamination Lead and CNM2 to ensure all equipment is processed in accordance with national guidelines, manufacturer instructions, infection prevention and control standards, and hospital policies.
