Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role. Managing parts including a high volume of varied components coming in and going out. Maintaining strong knowledge of parts; ideally suited to someone from the motor trade, manufacturing, or experience with Agri or forestry . Stock Management: carrying out stock counts and taking full ownership of factory stock. Training and supervising of our junior members of the stores team. Raising purchase orders for consumables and other stock as needed. Building good relationships with suppliers and chasing all open orders to ensure they are landed on time. We are working with a midlands based landscaping and construction firm to recruit an experienced working foreman.  Ideally you will have a strong background and hands on experience in construction, particularly external works, groundworks, carpentry and general builders work.  You will lead a crew of up to 10 staff on a variety of small projects. All work is in the midlands, Longford/Westmeath region. This is a working foreman/ hands on role where you will be required to lead teams as well as carry out work when required. Relevant tickets in small plant & machinery would be required. You will plan site works, assign duties, liaise with sub contractors, suppliers and ensure all plant and materials are procured on time to site.
