Full Job Description We are looking for a candidate with strong all-round experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment or a self starter who has experience with agri or forestry machinery. Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role. Managing parts including a high volume of varied components coming in and going out. Maintaining strong knowledge of parts; ideally suited to someone from the motor trade, manufacturing, or experience with Agri or forestry . Stock Management: carrying out stock counts and taking full ownership of factory stock. Training and supervising of our junior members of the stores team. Raising purchase orders for consumables and other stock as needed. Building good relationships with suppliers and chasing all open orders to ensure they are landed on time. You will be responsible for the installation, fitting and commissioning of hydraulic and electrical systems on equipment manufactured at our factory. Full product training will be provided on company-specific systems. This role suits candidates with strong hydraulic experience from plant, agricultural, quarry or heavy engineering environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5yrs experience post qualification with a relevant QS degree. Ideally you will have worked with a recognised contractor on industrial or pharma projects with a good knowledge of Mechanical packages an advantage. Duties will include Commercial management and monitoring of mechanical sub contract packages Handling valuations, variations, forecasts and cost reporting.
