Further company information can be seen at www.paneltofoods.ie.     Job Title: Senior Operations Manager   Panelto Foods is an Irish Food company based in Longford and extablisthed in 2004. Panelto produces a range of high quality contemporary sandwich breads for the UK and Irish and food service markets, from a highly automated world class bakery. Panelto has recently announced a major expansion doubling the size of the existing factory and workforce. Due to this expansion we are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead the operations team.   About the role   We are searching for a proven production leader with a minimum of eight years working experience in an equivalent senior position. The individual will lead, grow and motivate a talented production team. Overall responsibilities for production activities including standards, capital expenditure programme, maintenance and site services, working closely with all internal teams in delivering business results. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who would like to work in a dynamic and innovative growing environment. This is a new senior role working in a forward thinking and fast growing business.   Role and Responsiblities Lead, manage and champion production best practice standards across the business Develop a three year continuous improvement strategy  Manage and achieve operational KPI's in OEE/TEEP and material conversion control Manage the annual budget targets in productivity and labour cost Develop and support the continuous improvement/Lean processes within the factory to ensure efficiency and proficiency is always considered and championed by the team Manage the operational 'scale up' of the new expansion to the facility Effectively promote positive attributes and competencies for optimum team collaboration and ways of working Develop the production team through the performance development programs & reviews Consistently champion and promote health and safety in work throughout all production initiatives Job Requirements Relevant third level qualification Minimum of 8 years' experience at Management level with a proven track record in a manufacturing related environment Demonstrable capability in creating, managing and maintaining budgets Experience in lean manufacturing, six sigma and/or other process improvements Management and leadership skills including change management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to generate and analyse reports are essential together with computer literacy Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Self-motivated, confident and professional Strong planning and organisational skills Remuneration Excellent salary and benefits package - negotiable   Shortlising will apply.  Panelto Foods are an equal opportunities employer.  Applications by email only to Michael O’Sullivan, Arra HRD Ltd ( michael@arrahrd.ie ) by Friday 14 June 2019.
