Location: Westmeath  Employment Type: Full-time  Hours: 7:30-16:30  Annual Leave: 20 days per year, plus public holidays  About the Role  We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Tarmacadam Operative to join our team.  The successful candidate will work as part of a groundworks/roadworks team, carrying  out tarmacadam and asphalt works to a high standard while maintaining a strong focus  on safety and quality.  Key Responsibilities  • Carry out tarmacadam and asphalt laying works on roads, driveways, footpaths  and other surfaces.   • Prepare surfaces prior to tarmacadam application, including cleaning, levelling  and basic groundwork.   • Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.   • Rake, level and finish tarmacadam to the required specification.   • Assist with loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment.   • Work alongside excavator, roller and other plant operators as required.   • Follow site plans, instructions and...
