Job Description


As a Document Control Lead, you will oversee and coordinate all document control activities across a major construction project, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and client requirements. You will lead a team of document controllers and administrators, supporting project delivery teams and maintaining the highest standards of document management throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in document control within the construction or engineering industry, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proficient in document control platforms such as Asite, Aconex, BIM360 or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulae, linking, and data analysis) and other Office/Google tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and manage a small team.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of project documentation standards and quality requirements within a construction environment.
  • Knowledge of BIM workflows and ISO 19650 standards is an advantage.
  • Training on company-specific systems will be provided.
