firefighting, vocational, defence, mining, and special-purpose vehicle markets. Based in Navan Ireland, 
Timoney has been in business for over 50 years and has exported to over forty countries worldwide.
Our recent acquisition by Kessler + Co, brings enhanced manufacturing capabilities to complement our 
extensive experience and vehicle knowledge. 
Due to continued expansion, including exciting electric and hybrid technology projects, Timoney is now 
looking to hire an Engineering /Technical Sales Executive to join our growing team.


The Role
Based in Navan, the HYBRID role will involve working within a dynamic sales environment. The successful 
candidate will be expected to use their existing skillset and develop new skills to:
• Facilitate the progress of deals through the Timoney sales pipeline in a timely manner.
• Prepare, issue and follow up on sales meeting actions.
• Support the preparation of customer proposals.
• Participate in customer meetings and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer opportunities, and sales activities in Pipedrive CRM.
• Provide sales support at major exhibitions. 
• Provide back-office support to the sales team.
• Review and improve existing sales processes to enable the sales team to focus on winning 
business for the Company.
• Support prospecting and market research initiatives as required.


The Person
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in technical sales, engineering support, or a similar role (internships and 
project experience will be considered).
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering products and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
• Delivery on commitments. 
• Requirement for travel. 
• An ability to work independently and operate in a team environment. 
• Must have permission to work in Ireland.
