Machine Operator – SteriPack, Mullingar

• Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for permanent hire
• 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday – no weekends

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the safe setup, operation, and monitoring of production machinery, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards and production targets are consistently met.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and operate production machinery according to schedules and specifications.
• Take ownership of line performance: output, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor, record, and resolve downtime, productivity issues, or quality variances.
• Perform in-process checks and quality testing on finished products.
• Keep your workspace organised and follow 5S principles.
• Promote safe working practices and comply with all Health & Safety policies.
• Support team workflow and coordinate daily activities where required.

Who we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated production is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable, with excellent time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
