Finishing Foreman

On behalf of our clients in the construction industry, we are recruiting an experienced Finishing Site Foreman. You will oversee finishing works on site, manage subcontractors and labour teams, ensure high-quality standards, and maintain Health & Safety compliance. This hands-on role involves coordinating daily operations, monitoring progress, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and implement programmes for subcontractors

• Oversee site operations, manpower, and plant/equipment management

• Coordinate subcontractors and labour teams to meet project timelines

• Maintain detailed site diaries and Health & Safety records

• Order and follow up on site material deliveries

• Ensure compliance with building standards and quality management processes

• Conduct site inspections to uphold quality and safety standards

• Attend site meetings and liaise with subcontractors

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar construction role

• Experience with Irish main contractors on general building works is desirable

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management or equivalent

• Strong technical and practical knowledge of construction processes and regulations

• Excellent decision-making, organisational, and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented

• Strong communication skills and ability to foster positive team relationships

• Carpentry background advantageous
