Educator - Part Time

Cairdeas Kinnegad Community Childcare, a welcoming and vibrant creche located in Kinnegad, is offering an Internship Opportunity for a recent graduate (QQI Level 8 in Childcare) to join our ECCE program (21 hours) and gain valuable hands-on experience in a busy and dynamic early years setting.

Our service is committed to providing high-quality early years education in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. This internship is designed to support newly qualified educators in developing their professional skills and confidence.

This role also offers flexible extra hours for those interested in additional experience.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 8 qualification in Childcare (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development
• Understanding of play-based emergent curriculum and the Aistear framework
• Willingness to learn and develop professional practice
• Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative
• Warm, patient, and positive attitude with children
• Availability to work during summer
