Health Care Assistant

We are seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a healthcare setting. The role involves supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. Successful candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating the ability to use their own initiative in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications & Experience:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or a relevant healthcare qualification.
• Experience in a care or support role.
• Understanding of person-centred care and supporting individuals with varying needs.
• Training in areas such as Safe Medication Management and/or Patient Moving & Handling is desirable.
• Familiarity with relevant healthcare standards and regulations is an advantage.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions from management.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.
