Warehouse Manager – Co. Longford | Competitive Salary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a well-established and growing business in Co. Longford. This is a key leadership role within a busy operation, offering real responsibility, autonomy, and a highly competitive salary package for the right candidate.

This role would suit someone with experience managing medium to high volume warehouse operations, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics, who enjoys taking ownership of both people and process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Oversee goods in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities
  • Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and in real time using MRP systems
  • Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock control
  • Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and audit standards
  • Manage delivery schedules and ensure OTIF (on time in full) performance
  • Oversee fleet/MHE (forklift) management and maintenance requirements
  • Lead, motivate and develop warehouse staff, setting clear expectations and performance standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment at all times

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Warehouse Management or similar leadership role
  • Experience working in a medium to high volume warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse systems (MRP/ERP) and Excel
  • Proven experience in stock control, cycle counts and inventory management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and drive standards
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency
