Job Description

We’re partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager for their busy production site in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader to take ownership of warehouse activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring the efficient dispatch of products, stock accuracy, compliance, and team performance across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse environment
  • Ensure all stock movements are completed accurately and in real time using the company ERP/MRP system
  • Monitor warehouse layout, stock integrity, and operational performance to maximise efficiency
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full
  • Maintain high standards across quality, compliance, and warehouse procedures
  • Coordinate daily delivery and collection schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Oversee forklift fleet requirements and ensure equipment is maintained to required standards
  • Ensure compliance with all transport, import/export, and site security requirements
  • Support food defence and risk management procedures across the site
  • Monitor external warehouse areas including trailer parking, pallet storage, and yard management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement operational efficiencies
  • Lead, motivate, and support warehouse supervisors and operational teams
  • Ensure all Health & Safety standards are consistently maintained across the department

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Warehouse Management role
  • Strong background within FMCG, food manufacturing, logistics, or a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Experience managing goods-in, goods-out, dispatch, and inventory control operations
  • Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP/WMS systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing stock counts and maintaining stock accuracy
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across operations, supply chain, and production teams
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment with a focus on continuous improvement
