Senior Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

Our Clients in public health are seeking experienced and compassionate Senior Clinical Psychologists to join multidisciplinary teams across a range of acute, community, and specialist mental health services in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality psychological assessment, intervention, and clinical leadership within progressive healthcare settings, supporting individuals across the lifespan with complex mental health and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans
  • Deliver individual, group, and multidisciplinary psychological interventions
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to junior psychology staff and trainees
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare and mental health teams
  • Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold professional and ethical standards

Requirements

  • Doctorate or equivalent qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligibility for registration
  • Significant post-qualification clinical experience, ideally within public health or mental health services
  • Experience working with complex mental health presentations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
