Social Worker

On behalf of our clients in the public health sector, we are currently recruiting social workers for support-focused roles within community-based services.

The successful candidates will work as part of a dedicated team supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals, develop life skills, and engage in meaningful activities that promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in their day-to-day activities and personal development.
• Encourage participation in group, recreational, and community-based activities.
• Assist with the implementation of individual support plans.
• Provide practical, emotional, and social support as required.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Promote independence, inclusion, and positive outcomes for service users.
• Work in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, and relevant standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in social care or a related field
• Previous experience in a social care setting is essential
• Experience in day service or similar social care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in social care
