Psychology Assistant

Job Description

On behalf of our clients in the public health sector, we are currently recruiting a Psychology Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team supporting the delivery of psychological and therapeutic services.

The successful candidate will assist qualified professionals in providing high-quality support to service users and contribute to the effective delivery of psychology services across a range of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of psychology and therapeutic services under appropriate supervision.
  • Assist with assessments, interventions, and service-related activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies.
  • Support service users in achieving agreed goals and outcomes.
  • Assist with data collection, audits, research, and outcome measurement activities.
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology recognised by the relevant professional body.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, psychology, research, or support setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of professional ethics, confidentiality, and best practice standards.
