Credit Control Manager

Looking for your next challenge in credit control? A well-established organisation based in Co.Cavan is searching for a Credit Control Manager to lead its accounts receivable and credit control team. This is a permanent, full-time role with a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Your New Job:
As Credit Control Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process. This is a hands-on role, where you will mentor the credit control team, and collaborate with key internal teams. The position is full-time, office-based at least four days a week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and collect outstanding balances for a portfolio of customers
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounts receivable/credit control team
• Oversee accurate invoicing, cash allocation, debt reviews, and reconciliation
• Carry out regular recovery calls and negotiate payment arrangements
• Supervise credit assessments, authorise credit notes, and manage write-offs
• Produce and analyse AR and aged debt reports
• Set KPIs for team targets and monitor performance
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements in finance systems and processes

What Are We Looking For?:

• At least 5 years’ finance experience with strong exposure to AR, AP, and cashflow
• Minimum 3 years in both accounts receivable and team leadership
• Proficiency in systems such as Sage, SAP, Salesforce, plus advanced Excel
• Experience working with Irish and UK markets (desirable)
• Finance qualification (IATI, ACCA, CIMA or similar) is a plus
• Fluent English and full right to work in Ireland
• Must be able to commute or relocate to Cavan
