Trend Technologies Ireland is a leading manufacturer of precision plastic injection moulded components and assemblies for the healthcare, medical technology and life sciences sectors. Based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, our team plays a vital role in producing high-quality products that support some of the world's most innovative healthcare technologies.

We are seeking a Materials Systems Coordinator to join our Production team. The role will operate on a 4-cycle shift pattern, including day and night shifts, with every second weekend rostered.

About the Role

The Materials Systems Coordinator (MSC) plays a key role in ensuring materials and inventory are managed efficiently throughout the manufacturing process. Responsible for inventory accuracy and material traceability, the MSC coordinates the movement of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods between production areas and external storage facilities.

Working closely with Production and cross-functional teams, the role supports operational excellence by ensuring materials are available when needed while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and material traceability within the ERP system, ensuring inventory integrity and compliance throughout the manufacturing process
  • Support production operations by coordinating the movement and availability of raw materials, WIP, purchased components and finished goods
  • Generate and analyse ERP reports to support decision-making, improve cross-functional communication and ensure adherence to business processes
  • Conduct inventory audits, stock reconciliations and stocktake activities to ensure inventory accuracy and achievement of operational KPIs
  • Support warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving goods, organising shipments, maintaining quality and safety standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory control or manufacturing environment
  • Forklift driving experience and/or forklift certification
  • Strong organisational, numerical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good computer skills, including experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in a regulated or ISO-compliant environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, honest and reliable approach to work.
