Manufacturing Operator
We seek a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing operator to join our team in Mullingar. The
successful candidate will be responsible for performing polymer production tasks as per
Work Instructions/procedures and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality
standards.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: • Measuring and weighing all raw materials in preparation for production. Feeding the
raw materials into the machinery
• Operating the production machinery as per Work Instructions
• Monitor the production process
• Milling and Grinding of Polymer
• Packaging and labeling of polymer products
• Regular cleaning of production and processing equipment
• Receiving and inspecting raw materials
• Support dispatch activities for product samples and commercial customer orders
• Completion and upkeep of production records (Batch Processing Record) and other
associated documentation as required
• Informing the Production Team leader of faulty machinery or production issues.
• Other duties associated with the day-to-day operation activities
• Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals
and focusing on performance and safety
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
• Leaving certificate or equivalent required. May substitute educational requirements
in lieu of experience
• Must be familiar with the functions of equipment systems that operate by utilizing
multiple utilities such as compressed air, electrical supply, vacuum, steam, chilled
water, etc
• Hands-on approach to general working demands
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our expanding plant
• Competent approach to high-pressure/high-temperature equipment
• Ensuring the safety of yourself and others
• Logical decision-making and working off own initiative
• Must have legible handwriting and the ability to perform accurate documentation.
• Must be organized, capable of following instructions, and can coordinate multiple
activities simultaneously
• Must be able to work in a methodical and organized fashion and maintain mental
focus to ensure efficient and accurate completion of individual tasks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, being fluent in English
• Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
• The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the
business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
• Experience as an operator or technician in a chemical, food and Pharma
manufacturing environment would be an advantage
• Experience in a cleanroom is an advantage
