Job Description

Shay Murtagh Precast | Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

Shay Murtagh Precast is recruiting an experienced HIAB Crane Truck Driver to join our Transport Team, delivering precast concrete products to construction and infrastructure projects throughout Ireland.

The Role

  • Drive and operate HIAB/crane-equipped trucks
  • Deliver precast concrete products to sites throughout Ireland
  • Safely load and offload products using the truck-mounted crane
  • Carry out daily vehicle, crane and equipment checks
  • Ensure loads are correctly secured before travelling
  • Work safely around lifting operations and site personnel
  • Liaise with our Transport Team and customers to coordinate deliveries
  • Complete delivery and vehicle documentation
  • Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach on every site

What You Need

  • Valid HGV Driving Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience operating a HIAB / truck-mounted crane
  • Relevant crane/HIAB certification
  • Good knowledge of load securing and safe lifting practices
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
