An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and relationship-driven Salon Account Manager to join a leading professional haircare distribution business, managing an established territory across Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing new business and working within the dynamic and fast-growing professional hair and beauty industry.

The Role

As a Salon Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing an established customer base while identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strong relationships with existing salon customers.
  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within your territory.
  • Introduce and sell new products, promotions and brand initiatives.
  • Support customers with merchandising, marketing and promotional activities.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Promote education programmes and training opportunities to customers.
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts, including debtor control.
  • Provide regular market and customer feedback to management.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and complete administration in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across sales, education, customer service and other business areas to drive overall success.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Territory Management or Business Development.
  • A strong passion for delivering excellent customer service and building long-term client relationships.
  • A commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
  • Confidence presenting products, promotions and training opportunities to customers.
  • An enthusiasm for the professional hair and beauty industry.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing field sales environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous Account Management or Business Development experience.
  • A full, clean driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based, customer-facing role.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout the territory and attend meetings and events across Ireland and the UK when required.
