Love Travel? Love Sales? We'd Love to Hear From You!

Are you a talented, enthusiastic sales professional who loves building relationships, exceeding targets and helping people turn their travel dreams into reality?

Would you enjoy selling unforgettable holidays to Ireland while being part of a friendly, ambitious and growing team?

Irish Tours For You is expanding, and we're looking for an exceptional Senior Sales Consultant to join us!

We are an award-winning, Irish-owned tour operator specialising in beautifully tailored holidays throughout Ireland and beyond.

From luxury private chauffeur-driven tours to memorable self-drive adventures and group holidays, we help visitors from around the world experience the very best of Ireland.

Our clients are primarily based in the United States, and we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding personal service, local expertise and truly memorable travel experiences.

As proud recipients of the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award 2025, recognising us among the top 10% of listings worldwide, we're excited about the next chapter of our growth and would love to welcome another talented individual to our team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, motivated sales professional who enjoys connecting with people and has a genuine passion for delivering results.

You'll work with a steady flow of inbound enquiries, helping prospective clients plan their dream holidays and guiding them from their initial enquiry right through to confirmed booking.

Our tours are highly personalised, so no two enquiries are quite the same!

You'll have the opportunity to get creative with itineraries, build relationships with clients and introduce them to some of the most beautiful destinations and experiences Ireland has to offer.

This is very much a sales-focused role, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys selling, takes pride in achieving targets and understands the importance of following up with prospective clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing inbound sales enquiries, primarily from clients in the United States.

  • Getting to know prospective clients and understanding their travel interests, preferences and budgets.

  • Creating exciting, personalised itineraries and professional holiday quotations.

  • Selling our range of private chauffeured, self-drive, small-group and bespoke touring experiences.

  • Proactively following up with enquiries by telephone and email, building relationships and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings.

  • Helping clients choose the right touring experiences, accommodation and itinerary enhancements.

  • Maintaining accurate records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups and bookings.

  • Working towards individual sales targets and contributing to the success of the wider team.

  • Working closely with our customer service and operations colleagues to ensure a fantastic experience for every client.

  • Sharing ideas and contributing to the continued improvement of our sales processes and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a friendly, confident and commercially minded individual who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a genuine desire to succeed.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a sales-focused position, preferably involving consultative or high-value sales.

  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A warm, personable approach and a natural ability to build relationships.

  • Confidence in speaking with clients by telephone and communicating professionally by email.

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • A proactive attitude to following up enquiries and closing sales.

  • Good computer skills and confidence in learning new systems.

  • A positive, team-focused approach and a willingness to share ideas.

  • A genuine interest in travel and creating memorable experiences for clients.

Do You Need Travel Industry Experience?

Not necessarily!

While previous experience in travel, tourism, luxury holidays or destination management would be a wonderful advantage, we're also very interested in hearing from exceptional salespeople working in other industries.

If you've demonstrated strong sales performance, love working with people and have a genuine enthusiasm for travel, we'd encourage you to apply.

Experience in sectors such as hospitality, property, automotive sales or premium services could provide fantastic transferable skills.

We'll provide comprehensive training in our destinations, touring products, itinerary planning and internal systems.

For us, finding someone with the right attitude, sales ability and personality is just as important as their previous industry experience.

What We Offer

  • Competitive basic salary of €35,000–€40,000, depending on experience.

  • Uncapped sales commission to reward your success.

  • A consistent flow of inbound enquiries, giving you the opportunity to focus on sales and building client relationships.

  • The chance to sell wonderful, tailor-made holidays and premium travel experiences.

  • Hybrid working arrangements, combining time in our Tullamore office with the flexibility to work from home.

  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support.

  • A friendly, supportive and ambitious working environment.

  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression as the business continues to grow.

  • The chance to be part of a successful, Irish-owned company with an exciting future.

Location & Hybrid Working

Our office is currently based in Tullamore, County Offaly, and we welcome applications from experienced sales professionals throughout the Midlands, including Offaly, Westmeath, Laois, Longford and surrounding counties.

This is a hybrid role, combining office-based collaboration and training with the flexibility to work remotely.

Additional office attendance will be required during the initial training period to help you become familiar with our products, systems and ways of working.
