Service Advisor

 Mullingar Autos is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team.

We’re a family-owned business with over 50 years in the motor industry, representing Volkswagen, Škoda and BYD. We operate a busy aftersales facility in Mullingar Town, with a vehicle service department, bodyshop and CVRT light testing.

As a key point of contact for our aftersales customers, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every customer receives a professional, friendly and efficient experience — from booking their vehicle in for service or repair to keeping them informed throughout the process.

We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and managing service bookings.
• Listening to customer concerns and accurately recording vehicle requirements.
• Liaising with technicians and workshop staff to coordinate servicing and repairs.
• Preparing service estimates, communicating costs and obtaining customer approval for additional work.
• Keeping customers updated on progress and expected completion times.
• Managing customer queries professionally and resolving issues where possible.
• Preparing invoices and ensuring vehicles are ready for collection.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade would be an advantage.
