We are working with a midlands based landscaping and construction firm to recruit an experienced working foreman.  Ideally you will have a strong background and hands on experience in construction, particularly external works, groundworks, carpentry and general builders work.  You will lead a crew of up to 10 staff on a variety of small projects. All work is in the midlands, Longford/Westmeath region. This is a working foreman/ hands on role where you will be required to lead teams as well as carry out work when required. Relevant tickets in small plant & machinery would be required. You will plan site works, assign duties, liaise with sub contractors, suppliers and ensure all plant and materials are procured on time to site. This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in first fix, second fix, and fit-out carpentry, who can work independently and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Ideally you will come from a Electrical Trade background combined with an Electrical Engineering degree with at least 5yrs experience. Duties will include Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues. Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications.  Review and understand schematics, GA plans and projects specifications.  Design reviews, validate equipment and systems.  Complete technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers and trackers.  Analysis of all design documentation and identification of any scope gaps.  Review quality on site – walking down systems to ensure compliance with project team.  Liaising with Site Teams on project program & site deliveries Full time permanent role with extensive work in the pipeline.

They have an established Midlands / North West Team and are seeking to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them in their Midlands office. Ideally you will have a relevant third level construction related qualification, preferably with Mechanical contracting experience. You will have worked with recognised contractors and have at least 3yrs experience under your belt. This is a busy role, managing sub contract payments, claims, variations, procurement and client negotiations. You will report into the commercial manager but will be happy working autonomously, managing your own projects. This is a long term role in the region as they build their team to service their growing client base in the Midlands, West and North West.
