The purpose of this post is to support and enhance the hospital’s systems for Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Clinical Risk Management, in line with HSE, CHKS & HIQA National Standards for Safer Better Healthcare. The post holder will play a key role in promoting a culture of quality and safety, coordinating quality improvement initiatives, supporting risk identification and mitigation, and ensuring compliance with relevant governance, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. The Quality and Risk Coordinator will report directly to the Head of Quality and Risk, and work in collaboration with the Senior Management Team, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Multidisciplinary Teams.
