Key responsibilities: Assess, diagnose and treat communication (speech, language, voice, fluency) and swallowing (dysphagia) issues in patients, working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide care for diverse conditions and disorders. Focus on rehabilitation, functional improvement and supportive care for both patients and families Adult Acute and both acquired communication and eating drinking and swallowing disorders make up the caseload. Patient cohorts are Gen Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Renal, Critical care, Frailty, Oncology and Haematology.
