The Health & Safety Officer is responsible for promoting, implementing, and monitoring a culture of workplace health and safety across all departments of the hospital.  The postholder will work to minimise risks to staff and other interested parties, ensure compliance with Irish occupational health and safety legislation, and support the delivery of a safe and healthy working environment. This role is critical in aligning hospital practices with national guidelines including those from the HSE, HSA, HIQA, and relevant statutory requirements, and accreditation criteria for CHKS.
