We are looking for someone who has good all round experience in stores / parts 1.      This is a physical hands on roll that requires a good level of fitness. 2.      Dealing with parts   - high volume of different parts coming in and going out at the same time. 3.      Knowledge of the actual parts, so preferably someone form motor trade, manufacturing,  agricultural or forestry backgrounds. 4.      Ability to drive fork truck to load and unload & organise paper work in timely manner around same. 5.      Stock counting. 6.      Stock organisation skills. 7.      Training will be provided. 8.      Comply with all Health and Safety requirements. Experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential to this role We will also consider applicants with no experience but a good work ethic and looking towards a career in manufacturing. Salary will be linked to experience for this role.

Full Job Description We are looking for a candidate with strong all-round experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment or a self starter who has experience with agri or forestry machinery. Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role. Managing parts including a high volume of varied components coming in and going out. Maintaining strong knowledge of parts; ideally suited to someone from the motor trade, manufacturing, or experience with Agri or forestry . Stock Management: carrying out stock counts and taking full ownership of factory stock. Training and supervising of our junior members of the stores team. Raising purchase orders for consumables and other stock as needed. Building good relationships with suppliers and chasing all open orders to ensure they are landed on time. Processing warranty claims. Liaising with customers to understand technical requirements for parts and preparing dispatch documentation....

The successful applicant must be customer-orientated, have good rapport with customers and co-workers, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work on their own initiative. You should be punctual and present an excellent image. The successful applicant should have previous experience of the following: CUSTOMER COUNTER, PHONE SALES AND QUERIES GOOD PHONE ETIQUETTE GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS COMPUTER LITERATE - MICROSOFT OUTLOOK, WORD AND EXCEL STOCK INPUT AND OUTPUT CONTROL PACKAGING AND PALLETIZING OF GOODS UNDERSTANDING OF GARDEN MACHINERY – ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF WAREHOUSE AREAS MANUAL HANDLING TRAINING FORKLIFT TRAINING - NOT ESSENTIAL Additional training will be given if necessary. A full clean driving licence is an essential requirement.
